Abzorb Delivers on Telecoms Solution to GROUPAUTO Member

Last year, GROUPAUTO member, ABC Motor Factors, decided to update their telephone system and, after much deliberation and upon receiving assurances, they signed-up with BT to install their One Phone System (a cloud-based phone system).  Primarily, BT’s solution delivers calls via the cellular mobile network supported with high speed data circuits connected to on-site PICOs.

Sadly it was a disaster for the business.  The reasons were numerous, including: the solution did not deliver landline quality calls, where ABC's sales agents & customers had great difficulty hearing one-another.  There were delays & unacceptable time lapses in the call set-up process & dealing with missed calls added further impediment. 

BT worked extensively to address the issues but were unable to resolve to mutual satisfaction.  ABC’s endeavours continued for several weeks without achieving acceptable improvement, eventually they made the decision to revert to ISDN technology.
